Turkish vACC – TRvACC is proud to host our 19th of May The Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. 19th May 1919 marks a very important milestone in Turkey’s independence. On this day Mustafa Kemal Ataturk arrived in the city of Samsun and started the Turkish National Movement, an act that would lead to Turkey’s independence and ultimately the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey in 1923 Our event will take place on 19th of May starting at 17:00z and continue untill 20:00z between LTFM Istanbul Airport and LTFH Samsun Carsamba Airport. both airports will be fully staffed along with enroute ATC.
